Sutton kicks off new season

Wadham Park’s trainer Dale Sutton opened his account with his first winner of the new season when the promising Commanding Spur won at Geelong Synthetic on Friday, August 20. Commanding Spur (by Flying Spur) improved from his handy first-start fourth at Bendigo to beat a smart field of maidens over 1000m.
